THE LAST DAY

Imagen
That Friday was the worst day of all the experience because it was time to say goodbye to people who had been like part of your family in these three weeks.  First of all we wook up super early at 6.00 because we had to be at Scoil Pol at 7.30 to catch a bus that would take us to Dublin. I finished packing all my things and we drove to Scoil Pol one last time.Well, we finally got there and I had to say goodbye to Tafara's mother. After that, we took the bus and headed to the airport. Three hours later, we were at the airport, about to say goodbye to our colleagues, whom we would see again in six months. It was a very emotional moment for me because I don't really like goodbyes. In fact, a friend of mine and I cried quite a bit. After that, we went through security. It took us a while to get through security because they made us take off a lot of clothes to scan them, our boots, our sweatshirts and anything else we had in our pockets.  The first thing we did after that was go t...

That weekend was super busy. On Friday we made a small suitcase because we were going to go to a village near Waterford where Tafara's grandparents live to be there all the weekend, so at 15.00 we set off for there, stopping twice along the way to eat something, as it was a 2.5 hour drive, and at around 5.30 we arrived at Tafara's grandparents' house. That evening I didn't do a lot of things, I chated with Tafara's grandparents, I met Tafara's cousin and we had dinner, then we went to sleep. The next day we wook up late around 11.00 and Tafara's grandfather made us broken eggs for breakfast, they were delicous. Later we went to a restaurant to had lunch with all Tafara's family (her aunt, her cousins, her mother, her sister and her grandparents).  That night we went to a hotel that was in the village because inside there was a bar, we spent a lot of time there, playing impostor which is a very interesting and funny game with Tafara and her sister, watchi...

They also bought me a hurling T-shirt of Limerick. Before I took the bus, my parents and my family called me to wish me a happy birthday. We arrive to scoil pol where a lot of people wish me happy birthday, then we took another bus because the first three hours of school we were going to go swimming at the university of limerick. We swam and we went back to the school to had lunch and after that we had Green School and Financial studies. Later we went to bought some things to eat and we also went to the pitch where they surprised me by singing Happy Birthday to me with a cake and gave me a letter signed by everyone on Erasmus. DAY 10

That day was very relax, first of all we wook up very late, around 11 o'clock. Then I had breakfast, I took a shower and at 13.00 we watched the F1 race which took place in Baku. When the race was over, we dressed up, we had lunch and the we went to pick up Laura and her partner, because all the spanish students and their partners were going to do rolling skating.  It was very fun but when we were playing the limbo on the skating ring, Laura felt and she twisted her wrist, so it was a moment of anghish, because we though that she had broke her arm, But in the end it was just a scare and we all went home, we took Carla and Darragh (Carla's partner) in the car. We had a great time back home because we showed Darragh Spanish music artists and also some typical things we do in Spain. Finally we left them at their house, we got home, we had dinner and we went to sleep.

That day was a normal day of school, I wook up at 6.50, I took the bus and I went to school (we had Musical, Geografia, Portfolio, English and Wood Tecnology) When we got home, we chilled out for an hour and then we went to a theater in a town called Kilmallok, there we had a dance course which was very traditional from Irland, it was very curious because we used a broom. They filmed us doing the dance for submited to the social networks. Right after finishing we went to buy takeaway food at a Chinese restaurant because we were going to spend the rest of the afternoon at one of the guys' house.  Once there, we all had dinner together, tried some typical food from there, and then went to the back of the house because they had a gym and also a lot of hurleys and balls to play all kinds of sports.  At 22.00 everyone went to their houses and had a little snack before going to bed ( that is very common in Irland), finally we went to bed.
